Music to Listen to When it Snows

It just happens to be snowing today.

Let's get old school and go back to 2004 for a moment. Back then everyone thought the world was going to end in 2012, but by 2010 after that movie came out with John Cusack it became uncool to believe in that apocalyptic babble. But today, lets have and End of the World Party (just in case).

Listen to: (a Youtube Link, SoundCloud doesn't like it)

You just heard Medeski Martin and Wood. It's funky out in the open, anything goes jazz. They have earned a name for themselves all over but
chances are you haven't come back to this record in a while even if you're a fan already.
Download:

Snow? Apocalypse? Perfect.
Miike Snow - Silvia

From Lil Walter to Lil Tae,

The Jacob Fred Jazz Odessy:

Listen to:

Found this quote for their website, I Loled:

"JFJO's second album launched them into the national touring scene, partly based on it's expanded variety of styles & sounds, and partly based on the assumption that it was really recorded in Tokyo. Actually, it was recorded in Tulsa, OK - half live at The Eclipse and half in a studio owned by punk rock legends N.O.T.A."

I am familiar with Eclipse in Tulsa and it cracks me up to think these dudes were/are that raw because they're so ill. Norman knows how to get down.

Go buy Lil Tae Rides Again. And then Remix Tetherball Triumph.
